Today Is The Day

If you're waiting for an invitation to come in the mail, you're probably going to be very disappointed. What am I referencing? Anything, fill in the blank. There's no "right time" to do anything, you just have to do it. The "New Year's resolutions" are just an excuse to put something off and make an attempt at doing something you could have done months ago. Looking to start saving for your kids college tuition? Don't start saving 5 months from now, start saving now. Even the tiniest bit will get you further than where you were before. That can be said for anything. Looking to pick up a new sport? Don't start when the soccer season rolls around. Start now practicing 20 minutes a day, and when the season rolls around, you'll be more prepared than if you were to start when the season did.

Relating this to fitness, you're never going to be more prepared to start a fitness program than you are right now. In the CrossFit world, we welcome with open arms the unexperienced, out-of-shape couch potato. We believe that everyone needs fitness in their life and it's our job to deliver that to you. If you're intimidated by the thought of doing a pull-up, using a barbell, or jumping on a box, let us show you that CrossFit can be for everybody. Don't start when you "need to be fit to start," because you don't. Start today.

For current CrossFit Kazam members, use your fitness. Don't say, "I'm going to wait until I can do my first pull-up" before you run your first half marathon or go rock climbing for the first time. Use and apply your fitness outside of the gym and say to yourself, "TODAY IS THE DAY!"
