A Change of Hats: Meet Coach Clayton

You've seen him around the gym time and time again. He's been to every class time and is a guy to count on when you need a partner for the WOD. He used to be "my little brother"... When he started here, he was about two feet shorter than he is currently. Back around early 2013, Clayton came to Myrtle Beach to visit me for a weekend. It just so happened that I had a competition that weekend with CrossFit Myrtle Beach. Shortly after that weekend visit, I got a call from my mom saying that my brother expressed interest in starting CrossFit. I recommended he start at CrossFit Rage and the rest was history. Four years later, Clayton has shown tremendous growth both physically and mentally. He takes his confidence and fortitude gained through CrossFit, and shows a great deal leadership outside of the gym. Don't let his youth fool you, it was an easy decision to bring Clayton on the coaching staff. He has the passion for fitness and is willing to learn and grow as a coach and athlete. Here's your chance to get to know him a little better!
